About the ABP Alumni Association, Inc. 5013(c)(3)
A nonprofit organization, incorporated in Pennsylvania, the Avalon Beach Patrol Alumni Association was founded in 2013 by former Avalon lifeguards Jeff O’Donnell Jr. and Evan McGillin. The association, separate from the Avalon Beach Patrol, gives past, present and future lifeguards a way to connect and network with each other while supporting charities of South Jersey.
The organization has two funds; one for charitable donations, the other is the Brett V. Fitzpatrick Scholarship fund. To date, the organization has donated $54,000 to charitable organization, and granted $18,500 to scholarship recipients.
All net proceeds are donated, the team has zero administrative expenses, and is proud to do all of it's work pro-bono.
